The high manganese steel cone crusher bowl liner (also known as concave or fixed cone liner) is one of the most critical wear parts in cone crushing operations. Material Characteristics by Grade
- Mn13 (ZGMn13-3) – The standard high manganese steel grade with high tensile strength, excellent plasticity and toughness, and non-magnetic properties. Even when worn to very thin sections, Mn13 bowl liners can withstand significant impact loads without fracture.
- Mn13Cr2 – By reducing carbon and manganese content while adding chromium, this grade compensates for the toughness limitations of traditional high manganese steel and significantly extends the service life of wear parts.
- Mn18 – With higher manganese and carbon content, Mn18 offers superior work-hardening characteristics. After water toughening treatment at 1050°C, most carbides dissolve into the austenitic structure, providing excellent impact resistance.
