Production Process

 

 

Raw Material Inspection & Preparation

  Select pig iron and scrap iron (1:1-2 ratio) as the matrix, strictly inspect chemical components (C, Mn, Si, etc.) to meet ZGMn13 series or customized standards, and prepare refining agents to reduce casting defects.

 

Smelting & Refining

Melt pig iron, conduct desulfurization and deoxidation, add alloy elements in batches (23-26 minutes intervals) for alloying, then melt scrap iron for secondary refining and adjust components to qualification.

 

Casting Molding

Adopt sand-lined metal mold casting, design reasonable gating/feeding systems and insulation risers to reduce defects; metal mold cooling refines grains and improves casting accuracy.

 

Post-Casting Heat Treatment (Water Toughening Treatment)

Core process: Heat to 500-510℃ (200-220℃/h, 60-70min heat preservation), then to 700-710℃, cool to 560-590℃, reheat to 940-950℃ (3-4h), then water quench to obtain austenite structure.

 

Machining & Surface Treatment

Precision machining according to drawings; sandblasting/shot blasting to remove oxide scale and burrs, improving surface quality and corrosion resistance.
