The Mn13 cast hammers produced by Juhe Yulong Special Steel Co., Ltd. are core crusher wear parts for hammer crushers. The high‑manganese steel material features excellent work‑hardening characteristics. To ensure optimal performance and extend service life, special attention must be paid to the following points during use.

Installation is critical. When replacing new hammers, they must be symmetrically installed according to weight to maintain rotor balance; otherwise, severe vibration will occur and accelerate bearing damage. Before installation, thoroughly clean molding sand and burrs from the bolt holes and slots to ensure a flat fit. Tighten bolts to the specified torque and apply anti‑loosening measures.

During operation, strictly control feed size. Oversized material beyond the design limit must not enter the crushing chamber. Maintain uniform feeding to avoid impact overload. Regularly check and adjust the clearance between the hammers and the grate bars or impact plates to prevent material build‑up inside the chamber, which significantly accelerates hammer wear. For Mn13 material, sufficient impact force is required to form an effective work‑hardened layer. If the material is overly wet, it tends to cause clogging, which should be promptly addressed.

In daily maintenance, periodically inspect hammer wear and the fastening condition of liners. Worn hammers can be restored to their original shape by build‑up welding. Proper use and scientific maintenance can significantly improve the working efficiency and service life of these crusher components.
